Welcome to TerraFlow. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of TerraFlow’s website, application, and environmental monitoring services. Please read them carefully. By accessing the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating an account, accessing, or using TerraFlow Services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement. If you are using TerraFlow on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Services.
TerraFlow is an environmental intelligence and accountability platform. You may use the Services to submit geo-tagged pollution reports, verify reports submitted by others, participate in cleanup events, access environmental data, and use the open data API. The platform is designed to provide community-verified evidence of environmental conditions — not to replace official government monitoring. Always verify critical information before making safety or health decisions based on our data.
The integrity of TerraFlow depends on honest reporting. You agree not to submit false, misleading, or fabricated environmental reports. You agree not to harass, abuse, or harm other users or the communities they represent. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Services, attempt to access restricted areas without authorisation, or use automated systems to access the platform without our written permission. Submitting fraudulent reports with intent to deceive or cause harm may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
You retain ownership of all photos, descriptions, and content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant TerraFlow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display your content in connection with the Services — specifically to publish environmental reports on the public accountability dashboard, share data with government agencies for remediation, and include anonymised data in research datasets. Environmental reports become part of the public interest record. Your personal attribution can be removed at any time from your account settings.
To submit reports or verify others' reports, you must register for an account using phone OTP or email and password. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your account credentials, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@terraflow.in if you suspect unauthorised access. TerraFlow cannot be liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. TerraFlow makes no warranties — expressed or implied — including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or completeness of environmental data; uninterrupted or error-free service; or results obtained from using the Services. In no event shall TerraFlow, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, service interruption, or reliance on environmental readings. Environmental conditions change rapidly. Never rely solely on TerraFlow data for emergency or safety decisions.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for breach of these Terms, submission of fraudulent reports, harassment of other users, illegal activity, or at our sole discretion when we believe termination is necessary to protect the platform's integrity. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the "Last updated" date, and sending an email notification for material changes. By continuing to use our Services after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. Review these Terms periodically.
